Buying an inexpensive Nintendo Top Loader and a Gameboy

Hi all,

Here are some of my newest online purchases. I haven't received anything yet, so I can't really provide any reviews on this stuff. I'm sure it will come up as a topic on the podcast after everything arrives. The NES Top Loader is what prompted me to make the purchase, and everything else is filler (with the exception of the GameBoy).

Top Loader Console Only Compact No Cords or Controller
System: NES
I knew a girl in college who had one of these. The first time I saw the console in person, I was shocked because it was ugly as sin. I was doubly shocked when she put in Paperboy and the game immediately loaded without any sort of blowing or jiggling or any other tricks. Since I've gotten into vintage gaming, I've been curious about picking one of these up for a while. I'm hoping it is in good shape, as I purchased everything from a website without pictures.

I've gotten used to buying consoles without the cords at this point. Initially, I didn't realize that this came without cords, but at this point I have so many wires and AC adapters, it isn't a big deal. It is missing the dog bone controller, which isn't a big deal to me (this controller is also hideous).

Original GameBoy Console
System: GB Original
I owned one of these a long time ago. I had a Pokemon game and Final Fantasy Adventure (this game was FF Mystic Quest on SNES).

ESPN Sunday Night NFL
System: Sega CD

Flying Dragon The Secret Scroll
System: NES

Destination Earthstar
System: NES

Virtua Racing Deluxe
System: Sega 32X
Gyruss
System: NES

Infiltrator
System: NES

John Elways Quarterback
System: NES

MTVs Remote Control
System: NES
I very vaguely remember this show as a kid. I think this game would be fun to play with Raven, as it would likely have very obscure trivia.

Operation Wolf
System: NES
Whoops, bought this game without realizing I already own it.

Rollergames
System: NES

Star Soldier
System: NES

Top Gun
System: NES
